The plane if fashioned after the Chance-Vought F4U Corsair aircraft that was flown during WW II by Naval and United States Marine Corps pilots. The distinguishing characteristic of the Corsair aircraft, the “bent wings”, and bright blue paint make this plane a wonderful reproduction.
